Slough chances

I think us and Hendon will be towards the bottom, but the summer is still long and we might pull one or two good signings out of the bag yet. I'll make a fairer assessment towards the middle of July once Eddie, Westy and Roy have been able to work their magic and recruit some good players not here for the pound signs.

Once again though, I'd be more than happy to stay at this level whilst being sensible financially for the time being.

Why favorites???

Why should we not finish above the likes of Hendon, Harrow, Leyton, Folkestone, East Thurrock, Walton and some others?

Yes we ave lost our top scorer, but wait to see who we bring in, who goes out and who other sides get in/lose.

Ridiculos to call it this early when no signings have been made!

I actually have a strange feeling we may do OK next season - don't know why, but just do!!

Agree we need some good signings, but i always hope that because of our support, players are up for playing for slough. If no new faces we will struggle.

My top tip for relegation is Ramsgate who have had two successive promotions and don't seem to be signing many new players, and I think the jump from division one/kent league is a big one. I also think Hendon will be in trouble without a home of their own and no backers.

I always want one-man-show Leyton to do badly as well.

Still what do i know, only came 12th in the prediciton league.

It did help that last season Redbridge, Maldon and Windsor were appalling. I can only think of one team that seems certain to stuggle this year and that is Hendon. They were prepared for Division One football and so will suffer. It depends who we bring in - we still have the nucleus of a good side even with Hodgey going.

I think we should wait until the season starts and see how it goes with new players etc before we write ourselves off. Yes we've lost Hodgey, but htere has not been a season when we haven't lost a major player and we've got over it. Have some faith in Eddie. Our glass is half full NOT half empty.
