So who's it gonna be this year?

Me thinks Landon Donovan for the USA. Will stick at least one past the Eyeties, at least one past the Czechs and a few more against that African team (cannot remember if it is Ghana or Ivory Coast)

Don't count the Krauts out, on home soil as well, remember 1974 when the Dutch had probably the best side ever all round.

One goal up courtesy of a pen in first minute given by me ol' mate Jack and then they relaxed, game over. It wasn't of course, Gerd Muller being the matchwinner that sunny July day. I watched it in 120 degs heat in Grand Canaria, Krauts one side, Dutch the other, great time that.
