So the transition from part-time to full-time is now 100% complete, and all within one year. Somewhat quicker than the gradual transition I was expecting, and indeed hoping for.

KM reports the Club even has a full-time Physio now, with Paul Wilson (formerly at Grays) replacing Dave Lawson, who was unable to commit himself on a full time basis.

Interesting quote on back of Reporter, with Liam quoted as saying:

"He (Sam Mott) is a good young prospect and I fully expect him to pose stiff competition to Craig Holloway this season."

Presumably this means Craig has agreed to re-sign for next season then!

Some of us were perhaps living in hope to accommodate some talented players we have now closed the door to.
Indeed Liam's view:

Gravesend and Northfleet manager Liam Daish says despite their full-time status he knows they will have a small budget by Conference standards.

Daish told BBC Radio Kent: "Eleven players have left since last season but I don't think that's a problem.

"Some players I wanted to keep like Andy Drury and Jay Saunders but could not get them on full-time contracts.

"I'm working on a tight budget, it will be one of the bottom six budgets in the league, so I've got to use it wisely."

This is in fact the second time Daish has referred in the Reporter to Holloway as though he is already signed up for 2006/2007.
