Ive already posted this on the Romford site to whom it was originally directed but thought that the general ESL site might be interested too.

My name is David Tossell. I am a sports writer and author, specialising in sports books of a historical nature.

 

My reason for conacting you is that I have recently started research on a biography of Malcolm Allison, the former Man City, Crystal Palace etc manager.

 

I know that Malcolm played for Romford around 1961-62 so I was wondering if you had a club historian who might have full details of his time at the club.

 

Secondly, I am interested in speaking with as many as people as possible who had a connection with Malcolm so I wondered if you knew of anyone who was at the club at that time - either as a player or in some other capacity - who might have some memories of him at Romford.
