Nicked this from confguide forum...

1.

The season will kick off on Saturday 12th August 2006 and finishes on Saturday 28th April 2007.

2.

It was announced that due to some problem higher up the football ladder that the fixtures will not be ready for publication until week commencing 3rd July.

3.

All National Clubs will be assessed in September 2006, as to their Ground Grading Certification, with those clubs wishing to be eligible for promotion to the Football League at the end of 2006/07, needing to have an ‘A’ graded ground.

4.

Obviously, much about the financial affairs of a number of clubs had gone on behind closed doors since Friday and the AGM therefore was delayed whilst legal advisors for the respective clubs sorted out and advised their clubs of each situation. Accordingly, I can offer no answers because the other member clubs were just advised of the respective ‘Constitutions’ which saw Scarborough relegated with a 10 point deduction next season, which meant that Altrincham retained their place in the National Division.

5.

Also it appears that Crawley Town will have a ten point deduction for next season because it was stated they are going into administration.

6.

Carshalton Athletic has lodged an appeal over their relegation, disputing the actual terminology in the rules as to why Leigh RMI were reprieved.

That appeal is due on 7th June at the FA.

7.

National Division clubs will enter the FA Cup at the Fourth Qualifying stage and in the FA Trophy they enter at the 1st Round Proper.
