Open end construction update.

We are proposing to hold a site meeting for all of you who have volunteered time/equipment to construct the terrace at the open end. This will be held on Thursday the 8th of June at 7-30pm. Please attend as this is for your benefit as spectators. More volunteers always welcome.

Graham you can count me in (work permitting). I am not going to come down all the way from Croydon just for the meeting.

The one night we can't make a meeting, BB, is Thursday, but Graham and I will happily throw our aging bodies at it (with wheelbarrow and shovel) if required. Weekdays not particularly good, Saturday mornings absolutely the best time.

Thanx Graeme, anybody who helped out with the painting etc last time will know what a great comardary there was up at the ground, and I know that will be exactly the same this time. We all have the clubs interests at heart which what makes supporting them all the more worthwhile!

I was waiting for Blueblood to announce this but as it has been asked,I will nevertheless give out was I was told last night before I had to shoot off to work.

It may have changed since then but I am sure Blueblood will correct me if that is the case.As I was told it will be for two sessions initially.The first session will be on the 24th of this month(June) from 8.am until 1pm.It wont interfere with the football & though heads and muscle are required it was also mentioned that TOO many would be more of a hindrance rather than a help,if you get my drift.

Dosent mean that some should leave it to others in the hope that those others will turn up.We dont want NO-ONE to turn up now do we? .

Maybe a few names that can DEFINATELY make it would be advisable. I think I am correct in what I have said.

I am not running the show so please wait for Bluebloods confirmaton on this.Just thought I'd give out what I assumed were the final arrangements on this.

Lets just call this information "provisional" until Blueblood does confirm.

Sorry about the delay "Cookie",i was working a 12 hour last night, so have not been up long.

Well you are right 24th at 8-oo until finnished that section. Then again the following saterday. No body will be turned away,please bring a spade/shovel and if you have one a wheel barrow.

I will keep you updated asa and when i get more details. Onwards and Upwards.
