Guys and Girls, you're either supporting the Club and the Management team or you're not, its your choice.

 

If not please leave us alone to get on with it.

 

Don't sit behind your computer screens and have a go at us. Jon and Myself are at the club all day, pick up the phone or pop down. Coffee is always on.

 

We do not want to sit and read your silly and unhelpful comments all day.

well said jen we should leave out what was in the past & go forward with this club as a whole like board,staff,players & fans & if anyone is still moaning putting silly posts on then i suggest to take your money else where if you dont want to support hornchurch anymore so come lads & ladies lets get behind this club & go forward

Surely some fans are allowed the opinion that the management incharge do not have the interests of the club at heart and even if they do, do not go around the right way making it better.

 

Someone once said to me "I would much rather be a crap happy club rather than a succesful unhappy club"

 

Success does not always make fans happy with behind the scenes activities and I think people will do well to remember that.

 

Its ok to claim to be working hard and to have built a club up from nothing but if the fans are unhappy whats it all worth?

Thats ok, I do take interest in local clubs in non league it makes for interesting reading.

 

As a fan I am always going to feel for the fans, just look at Canvey as a situation, did there fans deserve that?

 

I know what you are going to say and some fan will back you up no doubt but you have been on a rollercoaster and in the process in my opinion lost more that you have gained can you say it was worth it?

 

Based on you comment about losing fans I actually already know your answer will be yes.

as for canvey...did the fans deserve what kingy did for them in the first place by not supporting in numbers and did kingy deserve the abuse hurled at him by the fans...?

only impartiality will allow you to answer that...

Well this is a forum and I am not exactly being harsh here just asking questions.

 

All I am saying is in my opinion that losing one fan is compromise enough for success, may sound a tad romantic but a club especially at this level is built around its fans so by losing them its not good is it?

 

Its ok to say we lost 13 but will gain more fans but of the 13 lost you will have lost some hard core fans, the fact they were around during last season will tell you that.

football is a transient business...people come and people they go....thats the nature of the beast and it will never change....

 

of course there are one or two questions raised by all of this.....

 

if the fans aint happy why come watch....?

 

if they feel they can do better come down and buy the club and run it....(everyone is an expert on NLF until they have to put hard work or money where their mouths are)

 

will we average more or less next year...?

 

talks cheap and bricks build houses...we'll see how canvey get on next year shall we now jeff has gone...

My club (Canvey) are in a bad way but at least we don't have any supporters like you!! T osser

you may well like to think that but as most of our fans would tell you...they support one of the best NL clubs in the country with the best facilities...

 

and regardless of whether you like it or not I personally carried out a lot of the work...why bother doing so if it were not to ensure the commfort of the fans....hardly a saleable asset was it...(a labour of love you see being an old fashioned artisan an' all) <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

 

we can only do what we can do and you cannot please all of the people all of the time....all things pass and urchins may well fall out at times but most of them will be there next season along with new ones...its what we ALL do...even esu will find a way in I am sure... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

 

ours are a loyal and passionate lot and get up my nose sometimes as I am sure I do theirs...but in the cold light of day we all understand that our club comes first in a transient football world......some poor sod has to take the flack and I'm okay with that as well....they just have to accept that its not all one way traffic and take a bit themselves...

 

talking of pleasing fans.....shouldn't you be a little busy sorting some of yours out who seem most unhappy at the moment...

FACT - Your club is in as much mess as ours and your club is being run by some very dodgy people which is the reason your very successful and well liked manager left..
