Biggest Game in Town's history!

I'm not so sure re; Jim Chandlers assesment in tonights' Gazette about the freindly against Tottenham 'the biggest game in the Town's history'.

 

I am looking forward to the game but I do not consider it to be very important on the field.

 

It might be the biggest game gatewise but it surely can't get close to the importance of the Wivenhoe game, either of the games against the Wood or our games against the team frrom Ware?!

 

Even on the attendance side, I guess it will only just scrape 700.

got to agree with you there. wivenhoe, th exiles all bigger games. maybe even the Banret one as they are much mroe likely to bring nearer their first team

At the time that was indeed the biggest.

 

I think most will agree that Wivenhoe this season surpassed that.

I think the Enfield derby at home, that we needed to win at the end of last season, was our most important game so far.

At the time, yes. But once we failed to win that and the Aveley game, Wivenhoe became the most important. I don't see how anyone can argue otherwise, whatever their politics <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Jim is trying to talk up his playing budget for the season so he is going to give it large! Good for Jim!

 

We can argue towns biggest game and we will all have opinions! The biggest game will always be the next if we want to win and we do!
