well lads,where we are gonna start from?in the last few days or weeks i have been carefully looking at every single post on the afc forum regarding John lawrence "departure" and all the rest,without getting involved because at the end of the day "it's none of my business".if you want an honest opinion lads,it's really sad to see all this slagging going on and it will take you nowhere.i tell you so because being a coach or manager myself i have been on the receiving end like John Lawrence and i know how much it hurts you.i have done the same as John(multiplied 20 times)being banned 3 times from the shrimpers zone.com,called Tilly and some of his licking bums all the names under the sun but to no avail.some of them have got jobs at the club as website manager or match programm editor <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" /> as a reward for their loyalty to the,at the moment,untouchable.dear john,you'll have to move on,get another job in football and prove the club directors wrong.that's the only way that you'll get your own back on them.if you feel,you have been harshly treated,i hope you told them face to face when you left.if you haven't then a post like the one the other day won't do any good to you <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />for the supporters that feelt betrayed by the board i can only say "directors,managers,players,come and go and the real supporters are there in good and bad times"there always be an HORNCHURCH club in 20,30 years time.stay loyal and get behind the new management team that "on paper"seems to have all the credentials to take hornchurch to the next level up.time will tell and time hopefully will heal all the wounds.just to cut it short now lads,you can say what you like about UU and Nette but they are the ones that put the money where the mouth is and work 24 hours trying to run the club smoothly together with other unsung heroes.they are asked to make judgements and tough decisions that might not fit with everybody's wishes but they do in the best club interest and not their own ones.please stop all this saga because is not helping your club reputation and if you have got any issues tell them behind the scenes,face to face.the show must go on and new characters will be on it <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/pipe.gif" alt="" />

for my input, you need the backing on and off the pitch, pride is what is hurting everyone.

 

learn from this as every club has its problems but no one person is bigger than its club.

 

opinions are fine, getting too personal isnt.

 

many dont get paid so why have the aggro, its because you have your memories to live on.

 

where there is smoke there is normallly a fire, but dont rob the hand that feeds you.

 

the power of running a football club appeals to some at any level, but ask yourself would you like to take the crap that goes with it, when you can walk away anytime.

 

some cant and give up so much to make it happen.

 

hold on to the dream, but never let your friendship suffer over a mist of bad feelings

Life is all about bouncing back, if you go through most of my posts and actually read them with a open mind, it is always sent with a message,I look at the whole picture. My late fathers words of advice to me was, live life to the full, dont do it this way, as I fck that up years ago, but pass on the knowledge, dont do as I do , do as I say
