Martin Allen resigns as Brentford Manager

I guess his resignation will effect our relationship with Brentford?

First I have heard of it - not made it to regional text yet either. But I guess it would unless our connections went beyond the management.

Off to Palace? We have a good relationship with Martin Allen, so hopefully that can continue at his next club, and hope we've built up some links with other folks at Brentford.

Radio 5 reporting that he is due to talk with Tranmere tomorrow

Which would make it unlikely that we are able to forge further links with them. Apparently Brentford are refusing to accept the resignation saying he has twelve months left on contract.

eddie quoted in the express today saying that he had been working on getting clark masters back for another season as well as others, but thinks that the deal we have in place with them will be in doubt now.

brentford have now stepped back and accepted that allens future lies elsewhere, provided they get suitable compensation.
