Guys and girls,

I have made the first tentative enquiry to the new regime at work in regards to sponsorship and/or cross-promotion.

What I need to know initially is:

Is Gladwish out next season? If so, is anybody lined up as the new shirt sponsor?

What sort of figures are we talking about in regards to:

Shirt sponsorship?

Ground sponsorship?

Player and/or matchday sponsorship?

Would the club ever allow the ground to be renamed for sponsorship?

Would the club change their name to Ebbsfleet sooner is the right connections could be created?

Would the club be prepared to do a combined rail travel / discount entrance promotion (even if it's just a couple of quid?)

Not promising there will be anything born out of this,

as I am awaiting a whole host of answers from the board of directors at Friars Bridge Court.

But if I have the answers from both sides then I'll have the answers for any future communications.

Thankfully they realised our glumness at the LoSER acronym and hence you'll see it's 'London & South Eastern Railway trading as southeastern'.

The 'GoVia' logo would look quite good on our shirts but one step at a time because I have a response from southeastern too.

There's a need for a fine balance between marketing a rail company and being seen to waste passenger fares on unjustifiable expense.

However..... there is a budget for such things - how far that budget stretches is not my realm, but the person in question appeared hopeful that something could be done (they were behind the sponsorship deals of Coventry & Swindon at their previous company, which may be a promising sign) - what I do not know, however, is to what scale that is likely to be.

I have now passed the contact details given to me in a pm to that person, to allow the two parties (southeastern and G&NFC) to participate in their own discussions.

Sounds promising, On the naming ground, we can say no(looking at kitkat cresecent and other dodgy names), but then again how can we justify a no? If it brings in enough revenue its got to be worth looking at...

I personally am at the no stage, but "if the price is right" and we get a decent (helpful) sum of cash for it I personally would think twice about it. That sounds like selling out, but for me its a case of keeping what could me be much needed revenue coming into the club...

I thought that in one match day magazine there was the sponsorship, and therefore naming of the rennovated plough end deal. rather like daggenham used to/ have that carling(?) stand

it's nice to see something going along the right track for a change.

Hope we are not railroaded into anything we dont want, and Things go along the best line for the club.

Will be nice to have a strong driving force behind us with a strong engine.

Could it mean we can have part timers back, as they will be able to train anytime.ok ok i tried <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/attentat.gif" alt="" />
