This weeks Essex Chronicle.

Recommended Posts

As I am no longer able to view the Chelmsford soapbox, and I don’t want to incur them any unnecessary costs by formally registering, I have decided to review this weeks Essex Chronicle by way of purchase and read.

Chelmsford have signed four more players blah blah blah.

What was interesting though is the article about Billericay Town FC, which DOES have MORE column inches than the Chelmo article, the Chronicle, like Classic Gold, have clearly recognised Billericay town Fc as being far more interesting, and newsworthy, than our city friends,

The Chronicle article was well written, and very complimentary, it also gave us a free plug for our summer soccer school.

Well done the EC<img src="/forum/images/graemlins/applaus.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/applaus.gif" alt="" />

Next week will see us link up with, and become, the Essex inquirer’s preferred Football club, They, like Classic Gold, (and from what I have seen this week, the EC ) recognise us as the superior, all round, friendliest, and most progressive non-league club in Essex.

Well done the Enquirer <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/elephant.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/elephant.gif" alt="" />

Well you've got a new ground, new manager, new players coming, bright new future...do I need to go on?

Agreed, but the EC appear to be having difficulty in appreciating the good things and keep concentrating on the bad (and yes, I appreciate that CCFC have helped them out in this respect a couple of times last season).

Steve; kindly note that the period during which the CCFC messageboard was "registration only" has now expired and that visitors such as yourgoodself may now "cruise away...." if they so wish.

This "registration only" period was an experiment which I undersatnd is unlikely to be repeated in the short term.

Splendid news TC although not entirely surprising. The poor old EC have been put through the mill by those ruffians at MP and are obviously fed up to the back teeth with their constant moaning. Come On You Blues and don't forget Injury Time tomorrow!!! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

  • 2 weeks later...

Attn David Baker subject audience increase alert

With the average crowd at Billericay at 600? perhaps even going higher you must at "Classic gold" be looking to Double your audience figures.

God the latest RAJAR was so good , the reach the % share Radio 2 next David !

Lets keep this in prospective. It's an AM station not exactly on the rise. A far cry from the 50KW Ross Revenge days
