or even their name!!!

There are a few people on here that are passionate CIFC suporters, but prefer to remain in the background, lets make sure we do not alienate them.

My biggest problem is if I have a drink I have got to get home.

I have just managed to persuade Mrs MOB to drop me and collect me from Basildon on a Thursday, if I add another night it might get awkward!!

we dont want to push out any true canvey fan, we just want to stop people signing up and making trouble on here and hide behind a computer, a true fan has a name in there profile or in there name i.e ken = ken (lol ) but it would be nice to get all the people on the forum to this night and hopefully have a bit of fun and most of all put a bit of money behind the bar!!

Look lads we are all grown ups and I really should not be picky but I do have a pet hate!!

"Their" means belongs to them!!! As in "a true fan has their name in "their" profile".

As oppossed to

"There is a hole in the Ozone"

Try this it may help!!

There is a hole in their tent, over there!!

There is a tent over there with a hole in it!

You should have said

"a true fan has a name in their profile or in their name".

Sorry!!

I cant help myself!!

Don't worry about it, I'm like that too.

Gets on my nerves with "there" & "they're" and "your" & "you're" whenever I read it wrong!

I'd think about coming, but I'm hesitant. I don't know if any of you pay that much attention, but when we went away to Alty, York, Accy and Stevenage, I was probably the only one on my tod.

well you can make friends on the forum without knowing who they look like, if you meet up and talk to people first you will get to know them and maybe not be on your own in the new season, i never knew who A Non E Mouse was until he come on the coach to one game and i was talking to him in the pub and now i talk to him when ever i see him now i know who he is and what he looks like so you never know!!!

Do you sing with the Yellow Army, Ribbit?

Hmmm...funny that, although being here in Wycombe I can still put faces to a few of the names on here:

Yellow, Canveyboy18, Gary Dover, Linney, MOB, Richard Sparkes, Great Eckscape, Chalky Boy, Ken, plus some of the not so regulars posters on here during the close season

Using a nickname is not always a case of not wanting to be known by your given or surname.

I know that a few people who have been going to Park Lane for a good few years already now me and also my Username but I am not sure if I would like every Tom, Dick, and Harry to know. I am also sure that there are a few who post on here will also feel the same.

Having said that, it would be good to meet some of the people who have blasted me for my views on a number of subjects, and there we also have the reason to remain anonimous!!!!

I know what you mean Ribbit. Although you may have thought you were the only Canvey supporter standing there on your own - I was on me jack jones at Accrington and Stevenage. The worst one for me was Leigh RMI the season before when I really felt like a spare prick at a wedding - on me own amongst 20 other people who all seemed to know each other. At the end of the day because of the coach I know a few faces now - well enough to nod me head to and say hello.
