According to the sports pages of the Romford Recorder today league chairman Rob Errington is quoted as saying that he has had no contact from Clapton FC regarding their participation in the ESL next season.

 

Apparently he also added that the possible promotion of FC Risden to the ESL posted elsewhere on this forum is no where near cut and dried.

 

Therefore, according to Mr E the ESL looks seriously like being a 13 team league next season.

 

What do you think lads. If this is the case will it be a 36 or 24 game league season for 2006-2007?

It's almost 24 hours since my original post and there has been no response from any 'ton representative.

 

Therefore, taking into account a previous thread regarding contact with the aforesaid club I can only surmise that they've all been Uncnapped! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Will there be any grass on the so called pitch this season, will the changing rooms still have a family of racoons living there, will the bar ever open, will we ever enjoy travelling to the Spotted Dog??? These are questions that need to be answered....
