Grunge? Bah Daveo - I'm disappointed in you! Kurt "my music only became good after I shot myself" Cobain always was the supposed spearhead of grunge, but Soundgarden were always better for me! Thank God grunge is dead!

Soundgarden, Pixies, Alice in Chains & Sonic Youth always were my top Grunge bands back in the day m8, Chris Cornell is a legend and Sonic Youth have evolved with the times like they always have.

In Defence of Cobain i really have to say it is a modern myth by many younger people and main stream music critics/journalists that Kurt Cobain only became the figure head of Grunge after he shot himself wich is quite inacurate Kurt got him self up there while he was still alive Nevermind and In Utero sold far more then any grunge bands at the time with only Pearl Jam coming close, they may not of been the best of albums but Nirvana took the sound to the mases back then + the Axel Rose clash became the catlyst image of Grunge putting one over on the Hair bands of the day.

Its sad that with the recent over exposure of Kurt's death and all this dubing him a legend has cuased a backlash from alot of people who didnt know or dont understand his role to the "Genaration X" teens at the time.

To the tune of "there'll always be an England.

There'll always be a Margate,

and Margate will win all,

If Margate means as much to you,

as Margate means to me.

I am sure we could sing this to the players at kick of to remind them what is expected. Though i am sure Trottie will already have done so.
