Pre season friendly - Fish are coming to town!

Just seen on our site that the two clubs have arranged a game for Saturday 22nd July in Margate.

 

It also says in Margates new stadium???

 

Aren't you still at Hartsdown?

 

Well I'll be there, the fixtures crying out for a Jolly Boys Outing. Better get the B&B booked now!!

Recommend the Vienna guest house on Canterbury Road for a B&B.

 

I guess Trotty wants to pit us against what was in my opinion the best team in the Ryman last season. Looks a good plan to me. Should be an interesting game.

 

Hartsdown is being redeveloped. We aren't moving out but the works aren't starting on the stands until March 2007. The pitch is being redone though ready for the new season.

Its our first pre season game so I suppose for us it will be more a case of dusting off the cobwebs. Will be good to see our new signings in action. We've done a decent bit of business so far this close season.

I think the pre-season game against Fisher will be more entertaining the last 2 league encounters as we now have a team capable of challenging for the play-offs in conference south and Fisher have got a good enough team to do the same in conf south.

Agree Alex I think with the team we will have by July we would be able to hold our own in Conf South but first we need to get there by winning this league. Roll on the friendlies.
