BR, as far as I can remember we had permission for at least one end, but not sure which one.

Also, not sure how long you can leave it before the permission expires either so his migt have run out.

Obviously, if this is goig to be a seriuos venture between the clubs then we can look into it.

Planning Permission expires after 5 years. It may be required for some covering but you would need to check it out with the local authority. If we could sort out something cheap and easy then we should go for it.

I don't think anybody doubts it is what we would like to see - probably the Windsor boys too. The point is though if we have only agreed to stay for 12 months, why does the Trust want to help pay for ground improvements when the club may take its business elsewhere in a year?

I'm also not suggesting being bad tenants as I think helping touch up the Stag through the summer is a good thing, but putting a sizeable amount of Trust money into the facilities of another club is not on in my opinion.

Trust rules of course dictate what can be given. If the Trust wants to spend more than £2K it has to get permission from the Trust membership and I can't imagine too many supporters want our coffers transferred over to Windsor!

That's why it's all dependant on how much it would all cost. That said, I agree with Roger and would rather see the money spent in some form on STFC, as there is adequate cover down the one side where for the Folkestone match we did manage to make a fair bit of noise.

Roger, I certainly would not be voting to spend any trust money on improving the ground at Windsor. But I am only one voice on a board of nine - so who knows how the vote would go. I was going to say that last night but did not want to stir up any more debate. In reality I suspect we will not even bother to get it costed particularly if planning permission is required.

Liam and Gary, it has been more or less agreed that the trust will be publishing a fixture list with hopefully a club endorsed "special offer" included. This will be distributed in Slough High Street as usual but we also intend to do an election style leaflet drop to houses as well so will require willing volunteers to target a few places.
