Poor old Altrincham. Their appeal against the Conference's decision to dock them 18 points has fallen on deaf ears so it looks like Scarboro will survive afterall!

The FA remains completely inept in these situations. There is no consistency in the way they deal with teams or in the punishments that are handed out. Scarboro for example will start next season with a –10 point start. Weymouth on the other hand, who clearly were more guilty start next season without a point penalty as there deduction was posthumously taken from this season’s Championship total.
