As you know the standing area at the open end lacks a roof. Nothing we can do about that at the moment. The open end lacks any kind of terracing, making viewing difficult to say the least. There is something we can do about that though. Tam as had talks with the club about the situation, though they cannot at this time afford the cost of professionals to do the job, there is enough ballast and fill down at that end to build one. The club as no objection if we the supporters organising the construction and provide the labour. We would need to bring our own tools, our own Barrows and a concrete mixer if any one has one. If you have the time to spare please post your interest on here and we will get back with more specific dates and times. This will make for a more pleasant afternoon for us the spectators as we watch our beloved blues sail back into the conference south.

Cookie, I don't think this can be rushed into. I'm no expert but I would expect that the terrace will be subject to building regs (Concrete mix) and a safety check afterwards. I would think that barriers at each end would also need to be erected. I'm sure Tam would be able to confirm that.

No problem Steve. I just see so many things in the pipeline that NEVER seem to come off. If its not intended to do these things they shouldnt be mentioned in the first place. Thats how I see things.

IF this IS fully intended to go ahead(red tape allowing)then all well & good.

Yes,sometimes I do get impatient.
