I was shocked to hear that Rooney has recovered from his broken metarsal. Now i get the feeling that it was not broken at all. It was an act so he would not have to play another league game so he would not get injured. Rooney come and join me on the Performing Arts course as you will do well.

 

And the oscar for best actor acting injured for 3 weeks goes to............Wayne Rooney.

Expect Rooney will play against Sweden in the final group game if we need the points but dont see why he would be risked before the second round otherwise. It usually takes a minimum of 4 weeks before the foot is even healed and then Rooney will have to get some sharpness back and do some training. I wouldnt like to see him start against Paraguay. I'm sure everyone in the Blue Gate would like to see him start though on the day.
