Can't see what everyone is moaning about, we are in a better position than we have been for some time. We know where we are playing and a playing budget is being discussed. So hopefully we can sort out a team now, not a few days before the season starts as has been the case over the last few years. Hopefully we are now in a postion to talk to potential sponsers, not the usual we may do this or that but we are not sure syndrome.

As to a ground in Slough a new stadium would cost several millions even for a modest ground. So celebrate hopefully we will be better organised going into next season than we have been for a while.

This happenes every close season, as soon as we haven't got football to talk about we all start taking pot shots at one another.

I agree with ARAAS, its done now so get on with it.

Get behind the club and maybe in a few years time we'll still have a club to talk about. If we don't stick together we'll have nothing left at all.

SR ..don't remember any positive comments from you regarding the elections or any offer of help ??? or do you views on us standing were not to your liking or did we not consult you...

apologies again...

I personally think if we wait for you and roger and andrew to put your 4 pennies worth , nothing would get done or acheived...maybe you should all join the liberals...and sit on the fence and jump which ever which way suits, sometimes in life decisions have to be made good or bad... the trust will always try its best for our supporters members or non members...we are supporters after all and not some outside group...

I agree you have opions and in the future if you not happy with things I suggest you ask us to looking into things for you and try to help the situation or you do it yourselves ...you know where Roys office is....knock and say hello...

Thanks Chris - I totally resent that remark. I have always supported the Trust, but you just talked me out of it. You accused me earlier in this post of being anti the trust when you clearly hadn't read what I said but it is clear that any contrary opinions are not welcome as far as you are concerned. When Sliski speaks, just nod your head in the affirmative.

I don't dispute the decision that has been made, in fact I welcomed it - my beef has been that the CLUB, NOT the Trust, has a lot to learn in terms of taking people along with its decisions. People will go along with things if they understand why and get some reasons as to why. All this secrecy, and to be honest, most of it is not commercially sensitive, is what get's up people's backs. The club could prevent most of this by being a bit more communicative.

You know very well I have made many positive suggestions about what can be done and have been told to butt out, now you are saying the same as far as the Trust is concerned - OK, I get the message and certainly won't waste my time again.

I think that the club owes Mr S a big dept of gratitude for the way he single handed saved the club by persuading Mr Deaner not to move to Harrow, which i feel would have been a disaster. And i say again if Mr S had just shut up this would have just blown over, but he must have pop at any one who does not agree with him.

We all know Chris wears his heart on his sleave - but it's not my job to defend him, he can do that himself.

However the comments Staines Rebel made and in particualr the way he made them ensured this would not just blow over Rog!

Andrew /Roger /Clive...

Its a fact ! your just as bad as me ! When the fur starts to fly we can not resist to be clever or try to take the moral high ground !

Our club is struggling to sort its self out one way or another its not perfect by a long shot things get done to a fashion and with its problems , It has tried to please most people most of the time,it gets things wrong , I get things wrong...but do you ever get things wrong...?

Its our club and we need to be together strong and above all behind it...with more than just paying your money at the turnstyle ! This club is bigger than any of us and we must treat it so...

If you lay any more bait , i will not rise to it and let other judge your comments....

If you have a problem and you need an answer send your request to me and I will take it up with the board or the club for you ! And thats a promise but you may not like the answer but I will try to see if I can get an answer for you from the relative people !

For god's sake, get a grip everyone. All this childish sniping and arguing isn't going to achieve anything.

Whats done is done. Lets just learn to live with it, weather you like it or not, lets just be thankful that we still have a club to support.

It makes me wonder, how are we ever going to get a ground in Slough when whenever the club makes a decision and having consulted a group of elected representatives rather than each individual person, civil war breaks out amongst the fans.

I feel that on this issue, the trust has done its job. God help us if this is going to happen each time the Trust does what it was set up to do. If you don't like what the Trust does, then by all means you don't have to be part of it but coming on here and starting arguing and sniping at everybody just makes you look like a fool.

Have sat and read this thread thoroughly now.... To be honest I did not have strong feelings about either Maidenehead, SYCOB or Windsor because I'm a relatively new fan and as such feel that my knowledge is limited and the Trust and the Club will do what's best.

I'm thrilled we've got a decision so early (compared to last season) and just think its incredibly sad that despite the great news of definately having a club to follow next season and somewhere to see them play, everyone's passions become flared and misunderstandings, bitterness and catty words start flying sround.

Not wishing to state the bleeding obvious here, but Andrew should not be thrown in with SR and Roger since his views are not the same. As Andrew eloquently pointed out in his last post, he entirely supported the club and the trust and merely questioned the fact that perhaps, to avoid such a handbag session like we've got now, the club could have announced an official "fans say" day or had some formal questionnaire or the like... he was not dishing out personal attacks.

And I think the fact that a sixteen year old boy makes the most sense out of most of the posters on the last few pages says something don't you?

Grow up. Charlie is right, they only ones talking any sense here are the kids.

It is not possible for everyone to be happy about every decision or the process followed in making that decision, that is just human nature.

Please stop bickering and acting like a bunch of spoilt children. For once we have a summer free from much of the stress usually associated with close season, so relax and enjoy it and come back in August in positive moods.

Here endeth the lecture.
