Clive ..... don't keep this thread going..you have made your point...you told me back at the away heybridge game you would not be joining so as far as i am concerned this is old news....

You were consulted ! You knew the club was trying to arrange a new contract/move ..its done a great deal and sometimes as I have told you in the past some things had to be kept quiet , the clubs representatives had major items to sort out including convincing Eddie to stay and all on top of this genuine concerns that we may loose supporters by way of a move to Maidenhead, which we can ill offord to do !

We as your representatives were asked to join the meetings a first ! slowly slowly we move forward..yes we know communication has been bad in the past , but you must rely on the elected board members to ensure your views are taken into consideration....I had lots of people calling me over the last few weeks concerned...my phone number is for trust members to call me...

You can look for excuses why In your opion that the Trust does not always seamed to fight for the supporters but we have to move in a calm and composed and professional way, and slowly we will move forward to represent our shareholders, its the only way.......

I am sorry you still feel this way.. inc Roger .....

but until you can grasp the fact that our club is walking a tight rope and by you jumping up and down at one end....will make us all fall...and lose what is dear to us...work together come to our hut on match days, tell us what we are not listerning too...and we will try to answer those doubts about our aims and motives...

chris sliski STST secretary.

Think the best thing to come out of this is the fact we seem to be getting things sorted off the pitch. Yes everyone is never going to be happy but:

- No Summer of uncertainty

- We have a football club!

- We have the ground sorted out before deadline

- We are still focused in moving back to Slough

- It's a year-by-year deal. Were not stuck at Windsor

- Things seem to be a lot more professional off the pitch

- Eddie can now go ahead and bring the right players to the club - not have a last minute rush for players as we have done in recent years.

All pretty positive IMO

You need to write to me as secretary and sign your letter so the shareholding can be cancelled.

so you are still a shareholder until the agm !

so what is your point...

tell us what you wanted us to raise as a supporter with concerns...

If we had had a meeting to discuss what the Trust should have pushed for as a suitable location, we would not all have agreed, wasted no end of time arguing about it and then half of us would have been even more pee'd off at the decison not being one of their choosing. Well done to all for making a decison and getting it sorted before the deadline. One less thing for us to worry about.

well said chris.
what i dont see is why everytime a decision is made at the club theres always someone moaning, always fighting between ourselves, this is probably why the club have been reluctant to pass on information/ask for the supporter's/trust's opinions.
were still going, lets focus on that and getting the club back to Slough, and look forward to next season.
up the rebels!

Do you really think it's feasible to hold meeting(s) with all supporters invited in a time-pressured negotiating situation?

From what I understand, it was going to be Maidenhead until fairly late on when a better deal was thrashed out with Windsor. I for one am glad it was, for the good of the club. Offers like this in situations like this, aren't on the table for very long - you have to make a decision there and then. No time for large scale meetings to be organised.

And besides - the groundshare issue is a Club matter and IMO I think we should be glad the Trust board members (who are all fans after all) were called to the meeting in the first place to discuss pros and cons.

Matt - SR, & RR to a different extent, have the issue with something which I think Roy said in May that the supporters would be consulted and doesn't feel that the Trust is representative of all supporters, so why should they be happy the Trust was consulted?

valid point oh wise man...

but constructivley this was not possible...you knows that and we knows that..and (the supporters representatives TRUST) we asked to attend ..a first step...and you got your press release first did you not ! That was the trusts wish and ensured Bernard call you to break the news...to everyone..the trust members were amongest the first supporters to know..or should i have called them all before releasing the information...to those people...sorry !!!!!

Wishful thinking Gary - the club will only communicate when it needs to - if there is money involved!

It only communicated to the trust to ensure that when it wants some of the trusts funds the trust are still "sweet" and belive they are being involved with the running of the club.

The trust was only involved in the talks yesterday for the club to make sure as many bodies come through the turnstiles next season and hand over their money.
