No, the only detail mentioned was that it was a better amount and better due date. Given there were other clubs interested, I think they have had to see sense about lowering their demands, and it looks like we have got ourselves a much more beneficial deal.

I must say it was difficult and to be fair quite hard for Roy Bernard and Eddie...The concerns were discussed , especially about the pitch, but other things like supporters concerns and parking travelling etc etc were talked about...pro's and cons for both grounds..however with the negotiations and the commitments from peter simpson, we felt it very fair to stay at Windsor for one more season. It was very very difficult for Eddie as he really did not want to play on a pitch that was so bad last season again, but the benifit of doubt was given...

 

STST was involved and hopefully gave good reason and were listerned to...

Chris - Just making sure the club hadn't forgotten about the trust until the last minute.

 

SR - Seeing as the Trust represents approx. half of the supporters (?!) then the club have discussed it with the fans imo.

SR - get back in your pram. The board are elected to represent the members and the Trust is the liasing body on the supporters behalf. If you choose not to be part of the Trust, then you lose out. If you think they've acted incorrectly, then simply put yourself up for election at the AGM in July.

To be fair , clive many of our supporters came along to our hut on match days and voiced concerns about many many things and lots about the move to Maidenhead and Beconsfield etc etc

 

we as the trust board were asked to voice concerns and about 8 board members attended the meetings at Maidenhead and Windsor today , with Roy Bernard and Eddie , we voiced a lot of concerns that in fair were quite a range of items, travelling , parking new club shop site, bars venue ,disabled parking , tea huts and covered areas etc etc ..repositioning of the two porta cabins from windsor and many other items that concern supporters and as the supporters organisation we hope we raised and put these ideas forward, They were taken very seriuosly and hope we represented a cross section of the items our trust members had made clear to us...

 

We are your supporters representatives, and hope we were able to view and comment on behalf of its members, if we have failed you.....sorry ...

Yes, but if the meeting was only organised last week, how many non-trust members would have been able to meet prior to the meeting this morning, to give their views to the club?

Especially seeing as the local papers would have already been printed and how many fans have access to the forum?

My personal opinion I'll add, but yes. They are there for a reason and is there another body representing the supporters out there?

I don't see what the problem is Clive, although personally I would have prefered Maidenhead, I'm quite happy for the Trust to make decisions on my behalf with this one, especially seeing all the concerns that were voiced that Chris has mentioned above.

I suppose we could have organised a vote, but that would have been a lot of work when everyone was busy fighting the local elections.

I reckon we would have lost a few more supporters especially if parking was a nightmare going to Maidenhead, but Windsor really need to sort out there pitch now tho', otherwise i can see us getting relegated. And any chance of some cover behind the goals?

The deal with Windsor is so so much better than before and Eddie did not want to stay there, but windsor have made committements and he accepted them too...

It certainly didn't appear a done deal to me. If anything I was certain we'd move away from Windsor.
