Working Party Required For Saturday 20th May

On Saturday 20th May (tomorrow), there will be a working party formed to assist Mick Carlton on re-seeding the pitch. We will be starting at 9.30am, and the likely hood of Bacon Rolls is good!

 

So if you're stuck for something to do and you can spare your time, why not pop over to the Lane and help make our pitch perfect for the new season! Even if you can only spare an hour, every little helps in order to maintain our Football Club!

 

The bar will be open after the game for a couple of pints and a few games of pool.

 

I would recommend anyone who is interested to wear old clothes.

Anyway, back to the working party!!

 

Well done to everyone who came to help out. Took a good couple of hours to move all the sand in the car park into the ground, which was being used today on the pitch to level out areas of the playing surface.

 

All the bins were emptied (a bit overdue!), and the ground already looked a bit tidier.

 

Good to see a couple of our Directors getting stuck in and helping out as well, if there was ever a sign that we're all in this together!

 

More help we be needed next Saturday as continue to make sure that when the season starts, Park Lane will look fantastic!

We need more people for this Saturday to help out around the club. Painting, strimming, and club house decoration for the World Cup are all required.

 

9am onwards please!!
