I see they went out of the Trophy at home last night against Havant & Waterlooville - the same side who knocked them out of the Cup.

 

Have we ever been knocked out of the FA Cup and FA Trophy by the same team in one season before??

 

The closest I can think of is, had we beaten Forest Green, we may have lost to Kingstonian in the Trophy Final the same season they knocked us out of the FA Cup.

Followed up beating the seat smashers by beating the sad mackems and Sgt Wilko (pig and seat smasher which makes it all the better).

 

A rousing chorus of "sack the pig" finished the evening nicely by the sound of it - Cheif Wayne Allison now on the wall at work (see back of The Times)

 

City win as well - seriously considering passing over Preston at home to see City v Aldersh#t

I think we've just about succeeded in putting a stop to GHA going on about the Gooners, so Dirty Leeds, Sheff Utd and Barnsley are definitely next on the list!!
