Hi Zag.

Which of those is the name of the band, old chap?

I have "The Two Gallants" <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/icon_band222.gif" alt="" /> as the ring-tone on my cell-phone. Are you familliar with their work?

Edit: I put 'band' in square brackets in the post and that greamlin thing appeared. It's clever stuff, this internet lark.

King Biscuit Time = the band.

Black Gold = album title.

I know you are "down" with the kids AFF, so you'll be familiar with that now defunct group, the Beta Band? (Their song "Dry the Rain" was made semi-famous by the film "High Fidelity" - so I've ben told, I haven't actually seen it). King Biscuit Time is Steve Mason's new band (the lead singer from the Beta Band). It's all jolly good too!

Hi Zag.

I recorded Jools Holland and watched it when I got home from the Ministry of Sound first thing this morning. Phew! It can be tough being this cool sometimes, I don't mind telling you.

Anyway. What a show last night. Gnarls Barkley - the first time I've seen him err.. her... umm.. them live. Fantastic. Snow Patrol - a bit mainstream now, but very good value. Doctor Jon - a regular mate of Jools, great sound but he really needs a vocalist, and topbbilling to Franz Ferdinand. Now they have something else. They closed the show with a brilliant version of Outsiders but with about 27 different people on a series of drums. Really good stuff.
