Agree - thought his tackiling and defensive duties were excellent - which is what a LB should be able to do afterall . . . would be a positive signing . . .

Do you not agree that young Glozier also showed a lot of composure upon his return from Tonbridge, and had the added quality of looking useful when linking up with the attack?.

 

Pity he has gone, but LD does have a good knack of signing left backs. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

I thought Glozier looked a bit too lightweight. Was pulled apart in the first half against Bromley, and that decided it for me that I'd be happy to see perhaps an older or more experienced body in that position.

The problem is that there are so many areas on the pitch in which we need to invest, it is difficult to know where to start.

1 or 2 keepers

1 right back

1 left back

2 utility defenders

1 or 2 centre halfs

5 midfielders

2 strikers

 

as a minimum, which would bring the squad up to around 18, still painfully short for a sustained effort to retain a mid table position.

yes i did but at the moment i dont care who we sign as long as we have 11 players and 5 subs come August.

One of the Central defenders needed could be solved by signing one time favourite who has just been released by Fisher,Francis Duku!

Thought that Watkins was a much better player.

If we are looking for a more youthful and taller version of Skins think he would do nicely.

I'd actually like to go a bit further and add that they should also be capable of playing 90 minutes without resorting to aimless hoofing.
