TV gets on my nerves !

Watching and listerning to the drivel last night re the european cup final...what match were they watching , (the best ever) (great players) (great skills) (great final).....utter Rubbish...The FA cup was a great game..that last night was rubbish IMO ... yes we had some good moves and play at times, some skill..but the comentators went over board....trying to build up and justify a European cup final, that was not a great match !

 

The FA trophy was better last Sunday ! ...at West Ham ..with 14,000 non league supporters in the ground.. and a good all round game of football...

still quite enjoyed the match.

It says a lot about ITV when for their showpiece final they have David Pleat doing the commentary

the sky commentators seemed to recognise that the game had been ruined by lehmanns sending off and didnt seem as interested after it.

The game was dead after the ref sent lehman off...and soon as arsenal scored everyone knew they would not be able to hold onto that lead...the writing was on the wall from that point..I am afraid...

Andy Gray and Martin Tyler were doing my head in on Sky as well. They may as well have shot the referee and got down on their knees in front of the entire Arsenal team for all their impartiality.

The TV commentators generally have been getting on my nerves lately. Peter Drury and Clive thingy me always load on the hyperbole and treat the team we are suppossed to want to win as if they are the best ever.

 

I wanted Arsenal to win last night but against ten men it was impossible. They had to allow the opposition to have too much possession and with the quality on show in the final third it always seemed likely that they would score.

It seems a good tactic these days is to watch the TV with a sound commentary off the radio-Talksport in particular.
