Whether he played on and allowed the goal or not, Lehmann had to go. it was one on one , he grabbed the strikers ankle. Even though there was a dive as well, it was still a foul, and in those circumstances the ref had little choice.

How many times have we seen the same thing at Fleet?

I think Arsenal, although they didn't win, did English Football proud in Paris last night.

Arsenal only managed 34% of the play and made 18 less attempts at goal.If that makes your proud, makes it look like a romp to Barca to me.

Who gives a toss for Arsenal, my only regret is that Barca didn't score a couple more. Last night was the perfect example of what is currently going wrong with our national game and will gradually lead to our nation team getting worse, over paid foreign players complaining about the other side cheating when their goal clearly came directly from a dive. How can they moan about time wasting when at one point it took the Arsenal keeper two minutes to take a goal kick. That is why I watch the Fleet and this standard of football, no cheating, the grass roots, real football.

Clearly you have never seen Sam Sodje, Prenderghastly, Stimson or oour old Tunisian, Maamria play then. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

There is no shame in coming second in the Champions League. They did better than every other club in Europe except one. Also is it any wonder that they enjoyed less possession with only 10 men for much of the game. Would Barca have won more if they had played with 10? I doubt it.
