G&N ~ The Best Ever Team?

On a far lighter note than most of the posts recently (all for very valid reasons), I was wondering what everyone's views would be if it was possible to put out a best-ever G&N team. Perhaps including all former 'Fleet players since the 60's. Would it include Kenny Burrett, Brian Wolfe, John Cowan, Andy Woon, Pat Brady etc. etc.

 

I am working on what I think would be my best ever G&N team, it would be interesting to see what others think.

 

Numerous people have stated on this forum that the squad for last season contained a number of players that could be counted as being the best ever players at the club, it will be interesting to see who, if any, of last seasons squad are included in the suggestions posted.

 

Have a think, it just might take your minds of the current situation.

A player who must appear in the best ever team (although pre 1960's) is Jimmy Logie. He signed for G&N in 1955 directly from Arsenal, with whom he had played 328 times scoring 76 goals. He stayed at G&N until 1960 when he retired. These were good times at Stonebridge Road we can only hope it can happen again!!!
