Five more players leave Gravesend

Gravesend and Northfleet have completed a major clear-out at Stonebridge Road by releasing five more players.

Aaron Kerr, Ashley Fuller, Danny Glozier, Scott Gooding and long-serving Jimmy Jackson, who can not commit to daytime training, have been released.

 

"These are difficult times at the club but we are in a major transitional period," acting chairman Jason Botley told Fleet's website.

 

"We've invested in the process of going full-time and we are committed to it."

 

JJ was quite a good 'un, if I remember rightly.

I believe so. I think there were only three part-time clubs. I think they all finished near the bottom.
