3 wonderful goals by John Fahy ( who lived a bit further down from me in Gloucester Avenue ) saw off the Rams in the SLC Cup final. A night to remember.

I think i went to that game with my dad.

 

Johny Fahy and John O'Mara-two great old fashioned centre forwards.

 

Would most agree that Fahy was marginally the better.

 

At that tender age , they all seemed like world beaters.

 

Wonder how they would take their every move being analysed and discussed on this forum today !!
