I appreciate what unc and nette have done for the club. My point is about half the users on the forum were and are not happy wiv the resignation of J lo. The other half are wanting to move on and prepair for next season. Both imo are allowed to have there own opinion.

Say there are 20 afch fans on the forum and we have a 500 strong fan base, im sure you dont know what the other fans are thinking so your percentage guess could be a bit out.

I dont know what to do, i still want to go and see the mighty urchins next season so i have decided to....

I suspect EVERYONE on the forum was unhappy that JLo quit. However I am still at a loss as to what some think the Club can/should do to make everyone "happy". The Club are as grieved as we are but for some reason seem to be cast as the villain. The Club can't wave a magic wand and bring JLo back so no matter how much some might stamp their feet, bridges have been burned. We must move on and indeed we will move on. As one of my old bosses used to say "If you don't like the ride then get off the bus!"

well if I wasn't happy as a fan esu about the way my club was being run thats what I'd do....

 

I also note with interest the comments by SS about some one telling him to 'pipe down'...

 

free speech for some and not for others eh...

i noted those comments with interest as well as i haven't got a clue who it was but was quite anxious to find out!!!

has anyone specifically said they are not happy with the way the club was being rung!

i can understand why you see it that way but i can't recall many if anyone saying that,it all stems down to the "j-lo resignation",all i recall is some fans saying they were not happy,i put something on here tongue in cheek about fans going to grays and it was taken out of context

get yur meaning mate but when the hardworking and major funding parties of any entity get blanketed with zillions of boozed up posts saying we are not happy (especially on a hx forum)...

 

perhaps they can be forgiven for thinking that they are indeed the target... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

 

and lets not mince our words here mate...we all know that the protest was because you all knee jerked that JLo had been fired and that it was a cover up....

But then u wouldn't be supporting them, if you "supported" them you would want them to succeed, buy giving money to the club through, turnstiles, raffles, programmes, bar, food, etc etc or alternately try to make a difference in the way the club is run.

what on earth are you on about...if I wasn't happy with the way that a club that I supported was being run I would go elsewhere....

no one has slandered anyone in any way,yes some people were shocked at j-los decision and showed their dissaproval by voicing an opinion on here but nothing has been done to make peoples life a misery that was not anyones point,some of us just find it hard to take that a manager as succesful as jlo had been and someone who clearly loved the club with the same passion as everyone involved,including the supporters,workers and officials should leave(as well as paul and alan),as someone said earlier perhaps we should wait to see if john,paul and alan gives a reason why!
