Sorry mate, I was trying to bring a little levity to the discussion and failed miserably. My reason for starting this thread was to try and restore some balance to the heavy discussions that had taken place over the JLo affair. As someone who sits quietly on the Riverside (or not so quietly when we pop another one in!) I do feel that some supporters believe they have, or should have, more influence over the decision-making of the Club than their position as supporters warrants. I repeat, we are not shareholders and the only voting-rights we have are with our feet.

I have read nothing obnoxious from the 'dissenters' and would argue against them not being 'true supporters'.

I for one do not know why, or any rumour why Jlo left the club.

I sit between the positions of, the club not wanting him anymore and that his bottle went and he wanted to leave on a high.

At the end of the day he has gone and we must move on, find a new manager and give him 100% support.

As far as I can see, not one of the "petulant children", "bullies" or "obnoxious people" here have slandered, slated or cast aspersions on any one,let alone owners, directors or "tea ladies".

Yes we had one hell of a season and at the end of it, the man that steered the team to the climax of said season resigns. The official line from the club is "Jlo resigned, fact. we do not know why, get over it!"

Well pardon me for being "petulant" but as a fan , do I not have every right not to be happy?? .Our most successful and most likeable manager resignes and all the club says is "we dont know why so get over it"

Does anyone remember how the fans (including the obnoxious ones) got behind the club and raised money that paid players wages, bought ties and training balls et.c??.Every one of the so called "dirty dozen" helped and for what??

5 managers since I have been coming over, number 6 on his way in.

Some continuity , stability and communication is needed here, not being singled out as obnoixious for having a very valid opinion.

I would also like to express my disappointment that Jlo has departed,

but this is in no way a criticism of the Board, Management or Staff who

have all made this season brilliant.

We would all like to know Jlo’s reasons for quitting, and I’m sure it will

be revealed in the future one drunken evening at the bar.

The important thing now is to move on and get the boys prepared for

the new season.
