I have watched most of the first and reserve team this year. There are at least 3 reserve team players that are more than good enough to play first team football at stag meadow this season! The reserve team player's give 100% every game! Let’s remind ourselves that the ressies don’t get paid! They have to pay for travel, equipment etc out of their working wages! They all had to chip in and pay for a coach to Salisbury! Their are first team players earning over £200 a week and not good enough to start in the reserves!! Omar Maqstood is quality in the middle of the park, Daniel Blatchford is young, quick and skilful and Arran taylor-ives is solid at the back!!

 

If the management don’t sign these players on contacts for next season, we will lose them to rival clubs!!

So are others talking to ressie players. why contracts, they only need to sign on for first team "squad" but may never get a call to play.

Hope the new manageer has a good look and considers the future. DC said they all lacked experience but Will managed it and so could a few more with COACHING,

It's a well known fact that rival clubs have been and still are sniffing around a few of the ressies. Be a shame to lose them.

Its not just local teams scouting these young ressies!! wycombe and fulham scouts have been spotted at reserve match's!
