canvey down

According to the teletext and most people canvey have confirmed they are to withdraw form the conference, B ut do ouy see this as a good or a bad thing.

 

I see this as a bad thing as we normally beat them, and the home games against them were entertaining and attracted a good crowd

It's a shame the 'local derby' is gone but we have just got to hope that we don't meet them on the way down. Let's just look forward to our future, onwards and upwards

As it goes I think the answer to some of the apathy around the place, is that our natural rivals all fell by the wayside.

 

we have tried to make Canvey and margit some sort of rivals , but it cant beat the sheer ferocity of the local Dartford and Maidstone games.

I think the Darts may rise again once they get settled in the new stadium, and it will be good to start to renew the rivalry.

If the darts have risen yet again, Maybe they should call there ground the phoeniex Stadium. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
