I'm sure Rob Smith was in the bar after the game. He left on a stretcher at Bedford as well and was fine!

 

Good job we have Beckett to fill in should he be injured!

I dont recall seeing him in the bar afterwards and someone told me he had gone to hospital. Im glad we have Beckett too, but its a shame he only seems to get a starting place when someone injuries themselves!

Rob Smith is plastered up to his waist (down to his ankle, on his leg). You can just see the conversation between Smudger and some doctor somewhere now...

 

Doctor: So where does it hurt?

Doctor: Erm. Which part of your leg?

RS: The right one.

Doctor: Right. There's nothing for it. We aren't going to take any chances. Someone put this man's right leg in a cast.

TFTV, didn't you play in goal for City in the legends game?

How many did you concede? Less than 7?

I did. I only conceded one in my 5 minute cameo, a 30 yarder from John Colfer which bounced over my leg as I tried to save it with my foot as I had a can of strongbow in my hand and diving would've meant spilling it. Rob Haworth then took over the gloves again!

Well at least you're not the worst keeper ever on those stats. Beaten just once by and ex player of the year and maintaining a hold of a Cider can, which, interestingly, you could have thrown in the the crowd, not that you do that kind of thing.

90 minutes per 18 goals.

 

An average of 18 goals a game. My average is 4 goals a game.

As you know, statistics can say whatever you want. The main point is, the Voice only ever let in one goal during one first team, substitute appearance. You, on the otherhand, made two, reserve, substitute appearances and conceded 8.

I don't agree with your point about Voice playing for the first team. Rob Haworth didn't play in goal for the first team. Noel Imber didn't play up front for the first team. The match was in neither cup nor competition, and thus had no real meaning. I'm bored now. I win. Shh.

I have never conceded a goal for the Saints. Surely that makes me the best keeper??
