Scrat mfc. where did you get the comment, "Billy Edwards no testimonial it would seem" from. Do you really think the club would leave a loyal player(10 years) high and dry. After all Roy Keane left United with bad blood and still had his testimonial last week.

The only one that was a bit of a suprise was yiga but in general looks good so far. good base for a team. and as other post have already said its nice to know what players we have got before the friendlys. Are you sure these players wont be with us next season? They may not be on contract for next season yet, but its not even June yet, so they can sign up for another season if they so wish.

Yiga useless? The lad is only young and looks a good prospect for the future. Will be sad to see him go.

To be fair, most of us were desperate to see Yiga stay when Chelmsford were after him in Feb.

 

Tend to agree that it was difficult to see where he would play and think RT has made the right decision.

Like many though, i thought he had signed for at least one year in Feb. ,so am a bit puzzled.

I'm struggling to understand the argument of where he would play. I rememeber a number of games where all our attacks came from his exciting runs down the wing. I hope he has signed for a year.

Afraid Yiga just wasnt good enough as an out and out winger, one of two central midfielders or as a striker. He might come good in those roles in time but we are in the business of going for promotion next season and the squad has to be trimmed for new arrivals to come in who can deliver the goods.

Yiga gave his all, he allways took defenders on when going at goal. Personaly im sad to see him go must have something to do with his atitude in training. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />.

Sorry folks, I agree with GW. Yiga is a good prospect for Ryman/Ryman1. We have to look higher than that.

I think we should give Bill Edwards his testimonial this summer with CK managing as Trott did not manage him as long as CK.

If memory serves me, Ken Tomlinson said the timing of Bill Edwards Testimonial is down to West Ham. If you are going to play the Game with next seasons squad then you will be using Trotties team. The past is the past its time to let it go Alex and look forward.
