Basically we are staying in the temporary ground next season. Work on the all-singing, all-dancing version is due to start in March 2007 - meaning last five home games will be played away.

I believe that the intention is to ask the Ryman League to give us five away games at the end of the season rather than needing to switch home games to away games.

Seems perfect scenario to me, albeit i would have like development to have started 1 Feb. to ensure we are in a reasonable state of readiness for start of 07/08 season.

 

At least we will be able to play the 3rd round FA Cup tie at home, and 5th round FA Trophy tie at home

We were told that Phase 1 should take 6 months. Therefore, if it starts 1/3/07 it should finish by 31/8/07 so first 3 or 4 games of following season will also be away.

This probally will be the least disruptive scinario.

Thats why i would have liked it to start in Feb.

I think that is the best idea for the stadium. If we have the first home game at home for the 07/08 season the ground should be at a safe enough standered to play at and we could always bring in the seated stand if need be.
