Amazed that Canvey are starting all over again as 'high' as the Ryman.

 

What have i missed about Wealdstone-why are'nt they still in the Ryman Premier ?

 

League is not far short of conf. south standard imo.

 

Certainly top half teams in Ryman will be as good as bottom half of Conf. south.

Still confused re: Wealdstone.

 

Effectively 5 go down-Maldon,Windsor,Redbridge and poor Hendon who do not get reprieved .

 

Usually ,if one team volunteers to go down, then someone(hendon) is reprieved.

 

Obviously i'm missing part of the story

Wealdstone were transferred in exchange for Boreham Wood to the Southern League. Usually this happens for geographical reasons.

I think Wealdstone were moved to the Southern Premier (the same level as our Ryman league) due to the geography of all the teams so that all in one league are as near as possible to each other, so Wealdstone in Southern Premier will be near other teams in the league, whereas if they stayed in the Rymam teams could be further away.

I think Southern Premier is an easier league than Ryman.

Carshalton are going to appeal against their relegation from Conf South so the line-up may yet still change (hope for Hendon?)
