League decision delay

nonleaguedaily.com reports a delay in the announcement for the leagues for next year. The meeting ended yesterday with no final decisions made as the league officials were not in agreement. FA will intervene and make the decision which will be made today but possibly not made public until next week

'LEAGUES CAN`T AGREE SO IT`S THE FA THAT DECIDE RESTRUCTURE

The FA`s National League Systems committee will announce the latest round of restructuring late on Thursday, although it may not be revealed publically for another week or so.

 

The committee met at length on Wednesday when they were hoping that the Football Conference, Southern, Ryman and UniBond leagues` respective officials would agree the restructuring themselves.

 

However, disagreements (surprise, surprise!) over where certain clubs should be placed in the Pyramid, most notably the division of the Ryman League`s Division One teams, led to a none-too-friendly end to the meeting and left the FA with no other alternative than to make the decisions themselves.

 

It is all a bit of a shambles – again – but the FA`s hope that the leagues would agree to the changes themselves was always doomed to failure, given past history!

 

This restructuring is the most comprehensive so far, and must be got right, otherwise all hell will let loose!'

looking around the same site i see that it has us down to play beaconsfield SYCOB away on july 31st in a pre season friendly, any truth in this?

Wouldn't be surprised, were we actually told about last seasons or did we just happen to come across them?

dunno, we're always the last to get anything sorted but at least season we have an excuse due to not knowing where we're playing but still you would have thought that arranging some away games would be nice
