Sevilla were always on top and if Viduka did not fall down so much he might have got the pen.

I thought Middlesborough's defence was awful and Charlie Hughes has got a lot to apologise for. It makes me worry over Englands performances over the next few years.

You really think the british newspapers will tollerate that quality of performance week in week out from Steve McLaren's team? I don't think his honeymoon period will last long! 2 years is a very scarey thought!

The British Newspapers!

B**LL*CKS!!

When do they try to discover the real picture. Politics is about personality and football is about glamour not the way the teams play.

I reckon we have the worst press in the world. Bar none.

Even at the BBC. Our prime minster goes to an illegal war. The government publishes a dodgy dossier with very little basis in fact. A spin doctor crys foul when a reporter at 6:30 am suggests that the spooks are concerned they the government are "sexing" up the case for war. But what does the great BBC do. Roll over on its back and sacks the reporter.

Is this really balance?

The press will put up with McClaren for at least 4 years until he misses out on qualification for the world cup. I also reckon that the Middlesborough Chairman had a point when he questions why Arsene Wenger was never in the frame.

We have a home office which lets immigrants free when judges have suggested they should be deported.

A minister is boo-ed of the stage at a conference by the RCN.

Another minster is castigated by the NUS while NATFHE are not marking papers because they want a 25% pay increase and what does our British Press concentrate on - A buffoon who cant keep his trousers on in the office!

Bit OTT but when someone mentions newspapers or media I just think of indoctrination.

"You can fool some of the people all of the time or all of the people some of the time but you cannot fool all of the people all of the time."

Easy Tiger!

This is about the England coach not about Politics. Personally I think McClaren won't do to bad. He is a very good coach and got a very average Middlesbro team to the Uefa Cup Final. I actually think he is a better coach than manager and therefore the England job could be perfect for him.

Wenger would never have taken the England job so I don't think he was ever in the frame.

Steph.

What are you talking about man?

The BBC is institutionally Left-wing,and has been for many years. They even report the fact themselves on their own News website.

ITV news are also left-wing stance ,and CH4 news a rabidly far-left.Especially Jon Snow.
