New Singings

Recommended Posts

No new signings yet and not for the foreseeable I don't suppose. We might have to wait to see who else will be leaving before the manager desides who he needs tp replace. A likely line up, Kerr in goal, Holloway yet to sign. back four of Gooding, Both Smiths and whoever. Midfield of Slatter, Darvill, whoever & whoever, up front, hopefully a fit again MacDonald, how long he'll be fit is anyone's guest and Moore. Sub's bench, 5 times whoever. Summer report....rebuilding required

C G, I would hate anyone to think that what you have posted is in any way accurate. Amniocentesis is NOT a test to establish the sex of an unborn child. In fact it is a diagnostic test that can be carried out during pregnancy to detect against the possibility of chromosome abnormality in the unborn child that may cause Down's Syndrome or other congenital problems. Also the amniocentesis test is not risk free. Between 1 in every 100 or 200 such procedures will cause a miscarriage usually within 3 weeks of the test being conducted. Although the results are very reliable in detecting chromosome abnormalities, I wouldn't imagine a parent taking the risks involved just to find out if they have a boy or a girl. They may end up with neither. As the saying goes, "A little knowledge.....".

It was purely in jest, Andy, mirthing at the "youth" our new signings are likely to be.
I do know what thest amnio test is, my wife had to endure 2, painful they were too, on account that she was not in the first flush of youth.
Luckily both kids were fine - except they were girls and HATE football!!
