I wouldn`t be suprised if King`s sponsored us next season.

Neither would I, probably what he meant by his pound for pound comment.

Two advertisements (front and back) on two kits, plus the hoarding above the bus shelter, would equal a fairly sizable chunk I would've thought though?

it would be interesting to find out how much kit sponsorship is worth at whatever level we will be playing at. if King does takeover the kit sponsor it will have to be shown that everything was done to find another sponsor and he is paying a fair price. in my opinion it will be a mistake, i think the lack of the Kings at park lane will only bring more people

it`s not like we are going to say it`s £10k? or no one gets their name on the shirts!

I'm not saying we would, but 4 (at least, if the back of the away kit wasn't sponsored) different sponsorship deals must equate to a fair amount, especially if they had to bid for all 4/5 packages. I suppose it depends on what the starting amount is.

It's my understanding that another company, possibly a couple is/are interested in sponsoring our shirts for next season though, so who knows!

People at my school say the same and keep laughing at me saying its about time I support a 'real' team because the one you support at the moment is folding. I try telling them its not but they say that the newspaper say it is. We must not let them think this otherwise there will be no fan base at all!

If we had some serious money what I wouldn't mind doing is asking First Buses if they could re-spray one of their number 22 buses that goes from Canvey to Lakeside via Basildon in Club colours much like Southend have with their Arriva bus. Jumping the gun a bit I know, but that would look so cool!

That bus goes through Grays, mate!!!!

To be perfectly honest Tony, your attitude and repetitive posts on here is doing absolutely nothing to help the club. I know you feel strongly about the situation, and when you've supported the club as long as you have then you've got every right to voice those opinions (as has anyone else). All I would say is that there's a time and a place, this is definately the place but I would question your timing.
