Good luck in the Conference next season (with the exception of the games against the mighty YCFC!) - I liked the fact you're already singing about the Oxford United fixture and the game v Stevenage.

I was in the Main Stand behind the dugouts. Somehow I felt it was going to be your day as the Histon fans were in the Buildbase Stand (The shirt sponsors of Oxford United!)

 

This was the fourth time I had seen your lads this season. This was the best performance by far. I'll certainly see you again at least twice next season for the York City games home and away.

Bit like me then, hear wonderful things about the team, but every time I go they don't live up to it. Apart from Weymouth home and away.

 

Today was OK, withstood the pressure, showed how dangerous we are on the counter-attack just couldn't quite turn it all into goals again. When their chap was sent off we were able to dominate. Shouldn't complain at 2-0 though, come to think of it.

I wish I could have been there to see the final.....I have been perusing the threads and photos..

It appeared a good time was had by all!!

I have one query however in regard to a photo called "The Scarfers". They have a White Ensign in front of them.....As an ex Navy man it doesn`t look quite right to me!!!!!!Was it made up?????
