Congrats are Histon simply poor on the day or are they a reflection of the quality or lack of ion the connie south. You should stay up with little difficulty I think as the defence looks fairly solid esp the 6 and with a keeper of Bastocks quality he will certainly save you a few points the second goal was well taken but you did seem to lack a cutting edge in midfield and the forwards seemed to have a certain lack of ability to put the ball in the net in the final ten

Hi c'mon. Welcome on here.

Histon tend to play a fairly direct form of football and in the first half they 'closed us down' refusing to allow us any space. I suppose you can't really blame 'em for that. If they had stood off in the midfield and at the back, they would have known that there was every likelihood that we would have torn them apart.

Our midfield didn't really find the space to play the game the way they like to.

We beat them 5-0 at their place in January and 2-0 at ours a month ago, but when they make it difficult, they are tough to break down. No team should be taken for granted but there were four or five sides who were more impressive over the course of the season.

Yes we should have scored a couple more in the last 15 minutes.

Next season? We'll see. I suspect that Paul Bastock will be in with a shout for Player of the Season once again!

Good luck to you lot, too.
