There are some good players out there who don't cost a fortune.

[lovely stuff]

But bringing in the leagues top goalscorer ,for the last two months of the season,in order to secure promotion,does tend to cost a little bit.

 

AfC Wimbledon were able to find that money for Barnes.Thats not a criticism of our board.Its a statement,that a bit of money can make the difference.

 

Saying that, Ian Cooper and Dean Greene didn't cost anything to buy (or sell).so it is possible to find good players.But probably not at short notice during the run-in to the end of the season,unless you've got cash to splash.

I would rather have the players playing throughout the whole of the season than being brought in to secure promotion. It can upset the team!
