Havant 1 Billericay 1

I didn't think we were bad, looked very solid at the back. Other than their goal (which JJ almost saved) I can't remember them having many shots on target..... Up front Roy had a quiet game, but we still had the better chances. Havant are a decent side in my opinion, looking at their results they don't lose many at home. Their away form isn't anything special though, so am pretty optimistic we'll make progress on tuesday.

i thought it was a decent performance actually. it was a game of few chances but felt we probably had the best of them. both sides cancelled each other out with the gg s not getting forward enough for me but we looked solid at the back and i thought we put plenty of effort into it. hopefully a home game will give us the edge on tuesday altho i spose thats looking reffy already as it has been slashing down for the last 24 hrs and still is.

I was a good display by the lads who battled for the full 90 minutes. The pitch was very heavy and I'm amazed that we didn't use any subs in the last 20 minutes when Wallo could hardly run - ideal time to bring on DJ or Carthy - but as usual the management not the players let us down. I thought the support yesterday from the travellers was excellent.

Not the best match I've seen with the Blues, but far away from the worst! Especially in the first half I thought we were good. Should have won though, but we'll do that on tuesday. Would like to have stayed for some extra days to get that match too, but I couldn't!

I'm also pleased about my away stats with Billericay still shows no loss. Four games I've seen away, which have resulted in three wins and one draw!

Also, I have to give Ryan a special thanks, getting up at five o'clock sunday morning to drive me to Stansted Airport!!!

Next time I'm coming, I'm not going back sunday morning, but sunday evening!!!

See you all at the Kingstonian match at home 22nd of february.

And yes, pictures from the trip will be online wednesday morning.

Well done lads. Not the greatest of games but we ground out a result. Have to agree with the lack of subs. Couple of players looked a bit jadded late on, and bringing on DJ may have caused thier defence (who must of been feeling it on a heavy pitch) a few problems. Roll on Tuesday!

Sorry lads but I cannot agree with some of the views here. Havent were all over us in the second half and okay, we had some chances but they resorted to the game plan that they had in the F A cup game, which was not allowing us space stopping us from playing.

Yes we did grind out the draw but our passing in the second half wasn't really up to much and we couldn't hit those front runners!!!

I would like to hope that it will change on Tuesday but.........

Another Gazza non supportive comment, for christ sake after all the stick you and a few other people gave the staff and players after the FA Cup game I thought if you look at the amount of work both goalkeepers had to do and surely JJ was the least worked GK of the 2.

Come on Gazza support the management and the team for once.

One thing that should be considered is that Havant are a pretty good side, particularly at home - I reckon they'd do quite well in the Ryman this season. The only team to have beaten them at home this season are Tamworth who are 2nd in the DM. Whilst we could definately have won it on saturday we now have an excellent chance to go through on Tuesday - and start booking up the Sutton double header in January

I think Gazza does have a point. It wasn't a good performance. I can't criticise for effort, but the actual play was not that good. Havant were too quick (everthing one touch) and we could not adapt our game plan to cope. Also given the state of the pitch, we really should have put on some fresh legs. Let's hope that we do better tonight.

Will be interesting to see who is on the bench tonight. Carthy is unavailable, Gilley isn't fit (said on Saturday!!).
