I have heard this from Sir Bob's lips himself as one club that might have joined the ESL was told by the FA no you start lower down! Unless somebody at the FA learns to share the braincell yes Canvey Island might be the first big club to restart at Step 8. Maybe they could merge with Concord Rangers and get round the ruling that way, but it seems unfair on the ESL or its succesor league to lose a potential team with a good following. Let's hope commonsense prevail at the FA. Got to happen one day! Go for it Sir Bob I know you can do it!
