Red Cards

Recommended Posts

I see that Teletext today reports that a Hereford player, who was sent off last week against Dagenham, has had his red card rescinded - one wonders what the FA are on at times?? Only a few Conference clubs have games recorded, and it seems wholly unreasonable that decisions can be changed for those games covered by camera, whereas a similar incident at a game not filmed, cant have a decision rescinded - surely, the FA should rule that, unless all Conference games are videotaped, thus giving refs the opportunity to review their decisions, then no decisions should be changed.

And anyway, how did the ref not change his decision about the red card for Sturgess at Yeovil that 1st week, given that it wasnt Sturgess who committed the foul ?? After all, video evidence was available there as well.
